Sources before conclusions

We prefer the organization responsible for a fact: transit operators for ticket coverage, public agencies for transport connections, and attractions for their own booking rules. Guides identify their references and the date of the relevant check. Conflicting or unavailable information is held for review.

Research and experience

Unless a guide explicitly identifies a real contributor and their visit, it is a research-based guide by the US Travel Guide Editorial Team. That name describes this site's editorial function, not a claim of professional accreditation or local residence.

Use of automated tools

AI and automation may help organize source material, draft explanations, compare structured facts and detect changes. They are not treated as sources. Initial guide templates and the first five guides require editorial approval; later drafts must pass source, duplication and format checks, with ongoing human sampling. Automated checks cannot prove that every interpretation is correct.

Changing information

We attach a check date to factual references. Time-sensitive fact records also have a recheck date. When a cited source changes or a fact needs renewal, its precise current claim is withheld from the guide's source-note panel pending review. Follow the official link for the latest position.

Images and illustrations

Our original route artwork is labeled as illustration. Photographs are used only when the location, source, creator and license can be established. An illustration does not document actual access, a route alignment or a personal visit.

Corrections

Please report a correction with the page, disputed claim and an official reference where available. A material correction changes the article's update date; routine checks do not create a new publication date.
